School Sport

Together we ... keep healthy

Children at our school have access to a wide range of sporting activities. The Physical Education curriculum ensures children have the opportunity to participate in, and develop, a wide range of skills across a range of sports and disciplines.

Every class has two hours of PE per week. Our PE curriculum consists of:

  • Dance

  • Gymnastics

  • Invasion Games (football, tag rugby, hockey, netball)

  • Net and Wall Games (tennis, volleyball)

  • Striking and Fielding (cricket, rounders)

  • Athletics

  • Swimming (KS2 only)

School Teams

PE is taught by both class teachers and professional sports' coaches. We have  coaches from Progressive Sports  either leading PE as part of teachers planning time or are working with the teachers to develop their skill and confidence in teaching high quality PE:
