Fundraising

At The Manor, our children and families regularly participate in fundraising events to raise money for both our school and for charities. An important part of our values and Christian ethos is about thinking of others in our community, our country and our world, and how we can do something to start to make a difference to those who may need our support.

As a school, we also value taking part in a range of fundraising events such as Children in Need, Comic Relief and raising money for the NSPCC. Furthermore, we have links to our local church and help them to support others during harvest and Christmas.

Finally, throughout the year (once per term), each class holds a cake sale in order to raise some money to improve their learning in some way; this may be through purchasing new resources or using the funds to help towards paying for a class trip.

We are really proud of the proactive role played by our young learners in fundraising for charitable causes- great work Team Manor!
