Compassion and Service

What does The Bible tell us about our value for this term?

The Bible tells us that our attitudes and actions must reflect the kindness, mercy and compassion of Jesus and the love of God for everyone. Christians should follow Jesus' example and serve God.

'Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.' (Colossians 3.12).

Reflection questions- do you show compassion and service in all that you do?

  • How do you show kindness and respect to others?

  • How do we show compassion to those in need or the elderly in our community?

  • Would you know if someone in our school needed help?

  • How can we ensure that everyone is well supported and cared for?

  • How do you serve others in school, in the community and around the world?

  • Who serves you and how do you show that you are thankful?
