Community Council

Our brand new Community Council have been elected democratically through class elections. There are three main areas of focus for this council:

  • Church

  • Community

  • Charity

These three 'C's' form a key part of our school curriculum and are closely linked to our Church school ethos and core Christian values of reponsibility, caring, honesty, friendship, respect and courage. Our Community Council will work closely with staff, governors and parents to ensure that all of our children develop into caring citizens who play an active role in the life of both our school and our community.

The Community Council were invited to represent our school when Bishop Mike, the Bishop of Bristol led worship at St Saviour's.

They also attended the Christingle Service and encouraged their friends in school to help collect money for a worthy cause.

The Community Council are working hard to ensure that our school community is safe for our pupils. They wrote to a local business to ask for some new signage to help keep us safe.

The Community Council visited the Community Centre at Christmas to provuide music and sing carols to the local residents.
