The Manor C of E Primary School

  

Festival of Youth Sport (FOYS), is a tournament held twice a year by Filton College and encompasses all sorts of sports. The college invites certain year groups from schools in South Glos to take part, and offers coaching sessions to these schools in the lead-up to the tournament. Eight children from each year group are then selected to represent the school.

Our sport was Quick-Sticks Hockey and the children selected to take part were Alisha, Georgia-May, Macaulay, Rory, Jack, Natasha, Ellie, and Joanne. You can see us in the photos below - we are the team in red! We took part in the Spring Festival (as opposed to the Summer one) on Saturday April 25th. The whole team did really well and ended up in third place out of 8 teams, narrowly missing out on the Fair Play award.
